Untitled captures one of those early summer days when a long lunch in the garden slowly turns into an entire afternoon together. Friends, children and family gathered around our big table, with lobster rolls, seafood, avocados, little cakes and far too much food being passed around.

The large-scale work is made up of fifteen individual 50 × 50 cm canvases, each holding a different fragment of the day. Together, they create one lively, slightly chaotic table full of hands, plates, food and colour. More than anything, the painting holds onto the incredibly happy mood of that day, when everyone seemed to be in a good mood and simply enjoyed being together.
