Schnitzel for Everyone

Schnitzel for Everyone captures an evening in the Austrian mountains after a long day of skiing with friends. Tired legs, a warm Wirtshaus and a table where somehow everyone ended up ordering the same thing: Schnitzel, followed by one Palatschinken after another.

The painting holds onto that particular mix of exhaustion and happiness after spending the whole day outside, when everyone is tired but the company is too good to call it a night just yet.
