24 Hours with Masu

24 Hours with Masu captures a day spent with my friend Masu in Zurich, just a few weeks before she became a mother. We moved through the city together, from coffee, porridge and chocolate cake to a walk by the lake and ramen in the evening.

Rather than focusing on one particular moment, the painting brings together small fragments from the entire day. Food, conversations and places become part of one shared memory, capturing those last quiet weeks before a new chapter in her life began.
