Foodmarket II was inspired by a visit to Borough Market – full of colour, character, and good food.
The crab, served with lemon and herbs, feels almost too dressed up to eat. It’s a playful take on market day meals, where fresh ingredients and bold flavours meet simple joy.

This painting is one of four works created after a week in London, inspired by the buzzing food markets, neighbourhood cafés, and the colours and textures of meals shared outdoors across the city
