Fries & Tomatoes 1/8

Acrylic on Canvas, 50 × 50 cm

Fast Food Fantasy Meets Garden Greens

Fries & Tomatoes is the first piece in an eight-part series created for a themed art event exploring the contrasts between indulgence and nature, fast food and fresh produce.

This piece captures the iconic image of a striped fry box, golden and overflowing, grounded by two small tomatoes — a quiet symbol of simplicity and balance.

The work stands at the intersection of pop culture and painterly playfulness, celebrating food as visual language.

One of the eight paintings from this series was auctioned in support of the Daughters for Life Foundation, a charitable organisation that empowers young women in the Middle East through education and opportunity.

This piece opened the series — bold, bright, and full of layered meaning.
