A New Kind of Joy: My first limited edition print

Hello and welcome!
I’m excited to share something I’ve never done before. A small edition of prints based on one of my favourite paintings: Foodmarket No. 2

Bringing each crab to life — hand-finishing my first print edition of “Foodmarket No. 2”

What it is

This is a series of 15 high-quality prints, each measuring 60 × 80 cm. But they’re not just reproductions. After printing, I’ve hand-finished each piece with acrylic paint and a touch of diamond dust. So every print is a unique artwork, with its own details and sparkle. Each one is signed and numbered by hand.

The artwork behind it

Foodmarket No. 2 is a painting that feels like a summer celebration. At its centre: a big, bold crab in vibrant red-orange, surrounded by lemons and strawberries. It’s one of those compositions that just makes me smile. Colourful, a bit surreal, and full of appetite.

Why I made this

Creating this edition was a new kind of fun for me. I loved the process, from working with the fine art printer to adding the final touches in my studio. It’s still very much my way of working: hands-on, personal, full of colour.
