Borough Food Market is a direct homage to one of London’s most iconic places: Borough Market. With its striped tents, lively buzz, and endless flavours, it was the perfect stage for a composition of taste, chaos, and colour.

The table is crowded – as it should be – with oysters, artichokes, strawberries, wine, and café cups, surrounded by reaching hands and cheerful clutter. A crab leans in with confidence. A glass is half full. The market continues in the background, loud and full of life.

This piece is both a scene and a souvenir, capturing the spirit of a market that feeds more than just the stomach – it feeds the senses, the stories, the soul.

Painted as part of the “Trip to London” series, it reflects my fascination with how cities feed us – literally and emotionally.
